CPAs, Twitter Biz, Landing Page Makeover, White House Blog

white_houseLast week was a crazy week, which ended with Ben's great SEO entry and then a long weekend of me doing absolutely nothing. How to calculate cost per acquisition

It's the only way to accurately measure the effectiveness of your marketing and will ultimately lead to making marketing part of your cost of goods sold and huge scalability. Andrew Chen just wrote a great entry on how to calculate the cost-per-acqusition for startups, which is a must read on this topic.

Are you a business person? Have you started twittering yet?

If not, you need to. And the friendly folks at CIO.com just wrote a great intro article about how to get started on Twitter if you're a business person.

Copyblogger.com runs a regular series where they take landing pages that don't work and give them a makeover. Today learn about CrystalReportsBook.com gave their landing page a makeover.

The White House is blogging

By now I hope that most of you have recognized that blogging isn't going away. It might not be the hottest online communication channel anymore, but if used properly, it can do wonders to improve the way you communicate to prospective and current customers. Even the White House is blogging these days, and since we're technically all considered customers, I recommend you subscribe to this blog.
