First of all, let me apologize that I haven't been a more frequent contributor to this blog these past couple of months. Life has been exceptionally good, but also exceptionally busy. And one of the projects that I've been plugging away on at night (and the wee hours of the morning) is a site called Idea Mensch. Long story short, for the past years I have been blown away by the kind of ideas that people are bringing to life on the Internet. Looking at sites like TechCrunch and Mashable, I recognized there's no shortage of places of sites where those ideas and projects get discussed.
But, being a people person, I have always been even more interested to learn more about the folks with the ideas. Who are they? What gets them going? What do they eat for breakfast and what books do they think I should read? And equally as important, what are they working on and what's the next big trend.
So, over the past year, we have been laboring away on Idea Mensch where on a weekly basis (usually two interviews per week), we feature people with good ideas from all over the Internet.
Check it out, and you'll already find a pretty impressive list of interviews already:
Richard Thalheimer, the Founder of the Sharper Image and CEO of RichardSolo
Ryan Wines, one of the most influential marketers in the world of indie music
Jakki Mohr, the leading academic in the world of high tech marketing
Stephen Sundheim, the founder of an amazing new collaborative software called Grupthink
There are many more.
If you're working on some cool ideas, and would like to be featured on Idea Mensch, just fill out the interview on our participate page.
